Rancho Santa Fe is an unincorporated area located in of San Diego’s north county, just a few miles from the ocean. This charming community is made up of winding rural roadways, rolling eucalyptus-covered hills, green pastures and citrus groves. The State of California recognized Rancho Santa Fe’s historical significance in 1989 by designating the village as a State Historic Landmark (#982) and further amending that designation in 2004 with California Cultural Landmark status.
“The Ranch”, as it is called by locals, is known for its horse properties and bridle paths throughout the area. It is also home to some great golf courses and tennis, and for its proximity to some of the best beaches in the southland. Some of the finest horse trainers in the country also live here. The area was the site for the equestrian events during the 1984 Olympics. Polo is a favorite pastime.

| An exclusive enclave still being built out, The Bridges was designed and constructed to preserve the natural beauty of its 540 acres. The heart of this residential community is its championship golf course, A Robert Trent Jones II design, the par 71 course boasts five sets of tees, playing almost 7,000 yards from the tips. At the center of the community is the 35,000 square foot Bridges Clubhouse, built to resemble a medieval Tuscan village. |
